What kind of data must contain Norwegian invoice?

- individual number of an invoice (on the top of the document)

- organization number of the company that issues an invoice, number contains nine digits, and the VAT payers should write down the MVA abbreviation at the end of this number. (it applies to companies, which operate in Norway)

- date of issuing of an invoice

- date of payment

- data of vendor, that issues an invoice

- data of buyer, client

- bank account number. If the payment is in cash, the so-called till is required. Norwegian tax administration draws an attention to the payments on company be done in the electronic way.

- description of goods or service, Norwegians want this description to be as detailed as possible.

- total amount to be paid, i.e. how much the client have to pay for the goods or service

(Since the 1st of January 2005 the Norwegian goods and services tax rate is 25% with exception of groceries and drinks which have 14% tax rate. Transportation and cinema tickets have 8% VAT tax. In the case of domestic sales, the tax should be calculated on the basis of the sales price, in the case of import the tax should be calculated on the basis of the duty for particular goods).

After filling in all required fields, determining the date of payment you can save your invoice to the database (option for logged in users) and print it – click the ‘Print the PDF’ button – the new window will appear and you will have to choose the type of document, which you want to print in Norwegian language:
